I saw your question on restringing Rickenbacker 12 strings at the Rick forum .
I was once the technical answer man at that site .
Due to misunderstandings with John Hall ..I no longer am able to answer at any Rickenbacker site .
I see you like the band Rockfour ...a great band . I have helped them out when they were in the USA .
I can give you a step by step way to restring a Rick 12 string .
And as to having the strings drag across the nameplate ... yes they have always done this , but you can minimize the problems this creates .

I was actually doing some online research on the IDF when I ran into your page. I'm very soory about what happened to your friend. I lost a close friend much the same way and I could never understand why it happened. Fianlly I just had to accept that they were gone and that life would go on. a) y does it suck with explorer?

I use MSIE as a browser and I was able to see it perfectly. I use MSIE because I have a PC that runon windows95 and since it's Microsoft platforme I rather like to use MS own browser, If I had to use Netscape it would belike running a Corvet with a Peugeot106 engine...See you soon in the hood!
